Nursing Assistant Program in Health & Geriatric Care

This program is designed for Senior High School graduates, course shifters, and individuals who have completed caregiving courses—even without prior healthcare experience. It provides in-depth hands-on training, classroom-based theoretical instruction, and German language preparation up to B2 level. Through this pathway, students are equipped with the skills and qualifications needed to begin working as Nursing Assistants and eventually become Registered Nurses in Germany

About This Program

This program gives aspiring nurses a solid foundation in clinical skills, German language proficiency, and European-standard education. It’s structured to help students begin their careers as Nursing Assistants and transition to Registered Nurses in Germany through hands-on training and guided pathways.

Overview

Duration: 2 years (2 semesters/ year)
Curriculum aligned with the German curriculum
Theoretical instruction in nursing, geriatric care, physiotherapy, and related subjects
Hands-on practical training in both simulated and real care environments
Start of Classes: August 4 (tentative)
Classes are conducted onsite (face-to-face) to ensure quality and practical training.

German Language Training

Up to B1 Level
If you pass at least B1, Athena will assist you in finding an employer in Germany

After Training

You will be deployed to Germany as Nursing Assistants
You have the option to enroll in a one-year program in Germany to complete the required Remaining Learning Experience (RLE). A 5 days practical & 1 day theory a week. After finishing the course, you will be eligible to take the nursing board exam and become a Registered Nurse in Germany.
